Our Roots

Roaming Roots was born from a love of the little things—the ones you sometimes have to slow down long enough to notice.

Sunshine through the trees. A beautiful rock tucked along a trail. Wildflowers growing where no one planted them. A piece of wood shaped by weather and time. Long drives, wandering paths, family adventures, and those unexpected treasures that somehow always seem to find their way home with us.

For me, being outdoors has always been about more than simply being in nature. It’s where I find inspiration, peace, creativity, and a reminder that there is beauty everywhere when we take the time to look for it.

That same feeling is at the heart of Roaming Roots Market.

Many of the things I create are inspired by the places I explore, the treasures I collect, and the natural world around me. Whether it’s botanicals, stones, mushrooms, beeswax, wildflowers, woodland textures, or something handmade simply because it brought me joy, I love finding ways to bring a little piece of the outdoors home.

But my roots go deeper than the things I make.

They are my family, my children, the memories we create, the places we wander, and the life I’m continuing to build. Roaming Roots is about planting seeds while still allowing yourself to roam—to explore, grow, change, create, and find the places and people that make you feel at home.

I believe there is still magic in getting your hands dirty, collecting rocks like treasure, chasing sunshine, making something with your own two hands, and leaving a little kindness wherever you go.

That is my why.
